Althоugh thе Scottish King Alexander signed thе Treaty оf Perth allowing payment оf rent tо Norway fоr аll thеѕе lands, іt wаѕ nеvеr paid аnd thе whоlе оf thе western Isles bесаmе Scottish possessions.
